A new-look website for The Takeover Panel
By Andy,
Onlineability is delighted to have created a new website for the city regulatory body The Panel for Takeovers and Mergers (POTAM).
POTAM is an independent body, established in 1968, whose main functions are to issue and administer the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers and to supervise and regulate takeovers and other matters to which the Code applies. Its central objective is to ensure fair treatment for all shareholders in takeover bids.
We were asked to come up with a clean design appropriate to the organisation which was simple for busy staff to use and which met stringent reliability criteria as it needs to be constantly operational.
It also presented complex challenges of information architecture, since it is the repository for a large amount of information for the body which must be easily retrievable by users.
We’re very happy with the resulting site which combines a clean, professional design with ease of navigation and stability. And we’re also pleased to have successfully tested our skills on a project of this size.
